The PZ is one of the three founding and shareholder associations of the Freie Tanz- und Theaterszene Stuttgart gUG (FTTS), which acts as a general interest group for the entire independent performing scene in Stuttgart.
The FTTS was founded in 2018 by representatives of the three regional associations Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance e.V., Freie Theater Stuttgart e.V. and the Vereinigung freier darstellender Künstlerinnen und Künstler für Stuttgart und die Region e.V.
Institutionally funded by the City of Stuttgart, the FTTS is an intermediary between actors of the independent performing arts, institutions and associations, sponsors and partners, the press and the citizens of the city. The office is committed to strengthening existing structures and expanding them for the benefit of artists.
In addition to a wide range of services and counselling for the independent scene, the FTTS organises its own event formats at venues throughout the city as part of the series "FTTS zu Gast" and "INTERVENTIONEN".
Together with its three shareholder associations, the FTTS has been working for the operational and strategic implementation of a performance venue for the whole independent performance and dance scene in Stuttgart.
